meet Gabriel Galdamez
I combine my passion for people and purpose with internal communications and marketing expertise to help organizations make what we call "work-life" better.
Since 2016, I’ve partnered with clients to bring a strategic lens, creative mind, and full heart to their organization’s communications, culture, and employee experience.
Teaming up with me can look different depending on the scale of what your organization needs. I work as both an independent consultant and an associate with A Leader Like Me, a global inclusive communications consultancy led by Advita Patel and Priya Bates.
Previously, I was at Brilliant Ink, an internal communications agency, where I led client projects while also driving the agency’s marketing. I was the force behind many well-known resources during my tenure, including COVID-19 and DEI Resource Centers, an industry-recognized weekly blog, and creating the Inkwell, a community-loved newsletter.
I’m passionate about investing in our industry. I’ve spoken for FirstUp, ContactMonkey, ALI Conferences, A Leader Like Me, and ICology on topics in internal communications, employee engagement, and DEI. I served in leadership roles for the San Francisco chapter of the Internal Association of Business Communicators (IABC) from 2017-2021 and still volunteer.
When I’m not evaluating employee experiences, evolving internal communications, or working to drive cultural change, you can find me tending to my indoor jungle, in a studio recording voiceover, or soaring in the air on the flying trapeze.
